Challenges and More Layouts!

Well, I've managed to get even more layouts done over the past few days, am very impressed with myself it normally takes me ages to complete anything! Anyways have joined a lovely group of ladies in the Sizzling Hot Scrappers team on UKS and Karen set us a challenge to scrap some eyes. So here is my take on it:

Ok, so I did put a bit of a twist on it but effectively my glasses are my eyes, can't see properly without them. And I've never actually scrapped my glasses so this was a perfect opportunity. Photo isn't great, is really dingy in the house today but the papers are really pretty vibrant colours - all MME Bloom and Grow, even the flowers and the ribbon are from the same collection!

Secondly there was a weekly challenge on UKS which I can now join in with again because I am in a group. So here is mine:

The challenge was to -

Scrap something that you take for granted in your life but would miss if it wasn't there - 10 points

Use old (either unwanted/unloved or precious/saved) stash - 10 points

Include vibrant colours - 5 points

Use a circle to reflect the globe - 5 points

So I scrapped water and electricity, I used some old buttons and a photo corner, I didn't really use vibrant colours but I did include a circle - my lollipop flower. So I claim 25 points! yay!

And finally (for now!) some people have been talking about los with no pictures so I decided to have a go. Ok so I took the easier option and only used a 6x12 piece of paper but I think it fitted well. The background was created with bubble wrap and green paint and I have just layered my journalling stuck my title on (the white letters are thickers) and attached some ribbon with some green staples. I think again it is something that needs to be scrapped and I am pleased with the overall effect. Although I do think it seems to be missing something with no photo lol!

Anyways thanks for looking!
